SATS Premier Lounge At Singapore Changi Terminal 3

In late December I was flying out of Singapore Changi Airport to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This allowed me to have a very small amount of time to check out the Terminal 3 contract lounge – the SATS Premier Lounge. SATS stands for Singapore Airport Terminal Services and it is the company responsible for much of the ground and catering services out of Singapore Changi airport. This will be a review of the lounge and its offerings.

Getting to the lounge was quite easy after getting through customs. In fact, it’s getting from the lounge to your gate that might take up much more time. After checking-in and getting your boarding pass, the lounge is nearby with a single escalator ride up. Reception is quick and easy with a simple scan of the boarding pass. If you are a Priority Pass holder, you have access to this lounge as well.

Interestingly, Priority Pass allows access to a surprisingly high number of lounges at this airport. Three lounges in T1, three in T2, four in T3! It seems like passengers have many options here. Even better, before going ‘airside’ it might be worth it to check out Changi’s newest attraction: The indoor rainforest known as The Jewel.
